| 1. Watch our video 2. THE BOOKING IS BINDING! When you get a contract proposal, your queue time and novisch priority is spent no matter if you accept the proposal or not. Therefor, it is important that you really want the housing that you book. Until the end of the last application day (“Bookable until”) at 23:59, you can check and cancel your bookings, logged in to Your Pages. 3. READ MORE ABOUT THE HOUSING BEFORE YOU BOOK Here you find our available housing. Click the button “Read more” to get more information on each housing. Important things to note are, among others: • The housing contracts are not time limited, instead you may terminate the contract whenever you want, according to the notice time in your contract. • The monthly rent is charged during 9 or 12 months of the year, depending on housing object. Read more below. It does not mean the contract is time limited – it does only describe the distribution of rent payments. • Some corridor rooms include furniture – some don’t. 4. FAQ: ABOUT “9 OR 12 MONTH RENT” On the list of available housing the monthly rent is described as 9 or 12 month rent. 9 or 12 month rent descibes the payment period (if you pay rent 9 or 12 months per year) and does not mean the contracts are time limited. You may choose to terminate the contract whenever you want, accoding to the notice time in your contract. You can read more here. 5. BE ACTIVE The demand for housing in the beginning of the semester is high, but the number of housing available is limited. It is therefore important that you are active. With us you can have three simultaneous bookings. Take advantage of that opportunity. Dont forget to seek accommodation elsewhere. For example, do not miss the private ads on Bopoolen’s website and on Blocket. THE AMOUNT OF NOVISCH HOUSING This autumn we hope to offer our novisch students 750 housing objects. approx.150 of these will be a one bedroom with your own kitchen. The remaining housings are corridor rooms with shared kitchen. How many housings are actually offered depend on how many terminations we receive. Novisch housing will be published continuously on the website until the beginning of August 10. The novisch housing contracts will start August 1 and September 1. The booking period for each housing, is usually two days. On Facebook you can follow how many novisch housing that have not yet been released. FINALLY Even if you in mid-July are placed far down the queue for an individual housing, you should definitely not give up. Many will find other housing alternatives and far from everyone needs accommodation from the start of the semester. The queue time to housing are usually lower later on in the autumn.
